Plenary sessions will set the stage for, and are at the core of, activities for the 18th IRF World Meeting & Exhibition, bringing together individuals who are on the cutting edge of research that will could dramatically transform road transport and how it is viewed.
Executive sessions take the form of policy round tables addressing key aspects of mobility and infrastructure development across the region and the underlying challenges.
These sessions are developed by major organizations from the host country. The main focus of the sessions are major projects, both ongoing and in the pipeline, from the point of view of showcasing engineering achievements and emerging business opportunities.
SAFE ROADS BY DESIGN SESSIONS
Safer Roads by Design™ Sessions are developed and adapted from IRF’s own extensive catalog of road safety training courses and workshops. These sessions will introduce engineering concepts, best practices and state-of-the-art technologies tailored to the needs of municipalities and road operators that can be used to prevent road crashes, and reduce the severity of accidents.
SCIENTIFIC & TECHNICAL SESSIONS
The technical & scientific portion of the program is developed through the peer evaluation of abstracts and papers by a committee of recognized surface transportation experts and researchers. The best papers will be published in IRF’s technical quarterly journal, the IRF Examiner.
PARTNER SESSIONS & SPECIALIZED WORKSHOPS
These “by invitation” sessions focus on specific intervention areas being developed by stakeholder organizations.
